Call for tenders to support maritime transport decarbonisation
Call for tenders under SMARTDEC for a study on maritime transport decarbonisation across the Atlantic Area. Applications must be submitted by 25 February 2026.Atlanpole, partner of the SMARTDEC project, has launched a call for tenders for the delivery of a study on maritime transport decarbonisation accross the Atlantic Area.
This call for tenders invites qualified consulting firms, research organisations, expert consortia or individuals to submit proposals.
Scope of the requested study
The analysis to be carried out is structured around two components:
- A benchmarking analysis of available testing infrastructures for maritime decarbonisation at the EU level, including recommendations on current gaps.
- A scenario analysis for selected innovations, covering their decarbonisation potential and their environmental and socio-economic impact trajectories, together with recommendations for their future developments, when applied to representative case studies contributing to the carbon footprint of waterborne transportation.
Implementation within the SMARTDEC project
Atlanpole pilots this call for tenders and the associated study as part of the SMARTDEC project.
Application timeline
Interested organisations and experts are invited to submit their application no later than 25 February 2026.
